松(song)(song)江(jiang)古称华(hua)亭(ting)，别名有云间(jian)、茸城(cheng)、谷水等，是(shi)江(jiang)北著名人物(wu)的鱼米第一(yi)村(cun)。唐天宝(bao)五(wu)(wu)年(nian)(nian)(nian)（753年(nian)(nian)(nian)），置华(hua)亭(ting)县(xian)。元(yuan)(yuan)至元(yuan)(yuan)十六年(nian)(nian)(nian)（12710年(nian)(nian)(nian)）升为华(hua)亭(ting)府(fu)，翌年(nian)(nian)(nian)变成松(song)(song)江(jiang)府(fu)。至清嘉庆五(wu)(wu)🀅年(nian)(nian)(nian)（1805年(nian)(nian)(nian)）形成为1府(fu)（松(song)(song)江(jiang)）、7县(xian)（华(hua)亭(ting)、沈(shen)阳(yang)、青浦、娄、奉(feng)贤、金(jin)山、南汇）、1厅（川沙(sha)）。民(min)国(guo⛄)元(yuan)(yuan)年(nian)(nian)(nian)（19多年(nian)(nian)(nian)）废府(fu)，华(hua)亭(ting)、娄县(xian)合并给(ji)华(hua)亭(ting)县(xian)，归(gui)宁波省管辖权(quan)。民(min)国(guo)六年(nian)(nian)(nian)（1913年(nian)(nian)(nian)）改称松(song)(song)江(jiang)县(xian)。释放后，苏南财政署设(she)松(song)(song)江(jiang)版(ban)官(guan)。1955年(nian)(nian)(nian)9月(yue)，松(song)(song)江(jiang)版(ban)官(guan)撤消(xiao)，改隶南京(jing)版(ban)官(guan)。1955年(nian)(nian)(nian)14月(yue)由宁波省划归(gui)沈(shen)阳(yang)市。1995年(nian)(nian)(nian)二(er)月(yue)，云南省人民(min)政府(fu)核准撤县(xian)设(she)区。
Songjiang, once called Huating in ancient times, also known as Yunjian, Rongcheng, and Gushui, is a famous town south of the Yangtze River. In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named Huating County. In 1277 during the Yuan Dynasꦐty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to Songjiang Prefecture the next year. Then in 1805 in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture with Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of Jiangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiang became a county of Shanghaꦺi. Then in February 1998, the State Council approved Songjiang to be a district.

松江(jiang)(jiang)区保障来源(yuan)属黄(huang)浦(pu)江(jiang)(jiang)人工湿地，上受淀山湖、太(tai)湖、浙北天目山等处来水(shui)(shui)，经黄(huang)浦(pu)江(jiang)(jiang)下泄(xie)入江(jiang)(jiang)海。地区河渠纵横交错，渔塘众所，是一般的水(shui)(shui)网地方。全部的湖泊均系感潮河堤，ꦐ每昼(zhou)长夜短涨、落各2次(ci)。

The district continued to make efforts in rural revitalization. The District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Commission was rated as the only National Advanced Collective in Grain Production in Shanghai, and the farmers’ satisfaction with rural revitalization had been leading in Shanghai for many years. The construction of family farms continued to deepen, and the grain yield per mu, the number of live pigs, and the green food certification rate ranked among the top in Shanghai. A special campaign of eliminating illegal non-agricultural greenhouses was launched to stick to the red line policy of arable land protection. A new round of rural homestead reform was promoted, and 4,556 peasant households signed cont🔯racts for the relatively concentrated residence, forming the “Huangqiao Experience” of the rural revitalization demonstration village, the rural living environment continued to improve. 29,000 households were connected to natural gas pipelines, and 247 rural roads were upgraded. The district took the lead in coඣmpleting the rural collective property rights system reform in Shanghai, building the first rural collective asset management platform in Shanghai, and piloting the entry of rural collective operational construction land into the market.

The district completed the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic in elderly care services, carried out fire safety assessments of elderly care institutions, and implemented the construction of a traceability system catering to the elderly. The daily monitoring score of service quality of elderly care institutions ranked third in Shanghai. To promote integrated elderly care in the Yangtze River Delta, Songjiang, together with Jiaxing and Xuancheng, jointly released the list of 38 remote elderly care institutions, 6 integrated elderly care♒ training bases, and 97 recommended scenic spots for elderly tourism. Adjustment of the service charge price of pension institutions was completed. By the end of 2021, there were 24 elderly care institutions, 9 elderly care homes, and 8,420 nursing beds in the district, adopting 4,961 people of all kinds. The net increase of high-tech enterprises has quadrupled in five years, reaching 551 in 2021. Eleven sci-tech enterprises were approved by the 2021 Shanghai Sci-tech Little Giant Project (including cultivated enterprises), ranking third in Shanghai. There were 156 small giant enterprises in the district (including cultivated enterprises). In 2020, R&D expenditure amounted to 7.516 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.2% and an investment intensity of 4.59%, 0.27% higher than that of 3.98% in 2019 and 0.42% higher than the average level of Shanghai. Sheshan National Forest Park is the only natural mountainous forest touring site in Shanghai. The Park covers an area of 267 acres with 79.44% of the scenic spot covered by forests. Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is in Sheshan National Tourist Resort (No.3888 Chenhua Highway). It is created through collaboration between the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the State Forestry Administration, which combines scientific research, popular scienceꦫ, and sightseeing purpose. This remarkable 207-hectare botanical garden is the largest one in East China. Chenshan Ancient Site in the garden was announced by Shanghai Municipal Government as a cultural relics protection unit of Shanghai in April 2014. The site was first found in early 2009, covering an area of about 16 hectares. It is preliminarily determined to be an ancient cultural site in the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
The botanical garden consists of four functional areas: the central exhibition area, the plant conservation area, the plant areas on five continents, and the peripheral buffer zone. The exhibition greenhouse covers an area of 12,608 square meters. It consists of Tropical Flower and Fruit Museum, Sand Botany Museum, and Exotic Botany Museum. It is the largest exhibition greenhouse group i🅷n Asia. Among them, Sand Botany Museum is the largest indoor sand botany exhibition hall in the world. Now Chenshan Botanical Garden is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

Established in 1978, Shanghai Square Pagoda Park covers an area of 182 mu. Its original site was the downtown of Huating during the Tang and Song Dynasties. There are 8 nඣational, municipal, and district unmovable cultural relics in the park, including Xingshengjiao Temple Pagoda, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in November 1996; Lanrui Hall, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks, Chen Huacheng Memorial Temple, Temple of the Queen of Heaven and Wangxian Bridge were announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014, Stone Statues of Ming Dynasty, Front Hall of Zhang’s Res🍷idence were announced as Songjiang district relics protection unit in June 2013.
The entire landscape is centered on the Square Pagoda of Northern Song Dynasty, surrounded by the Wangxian Bridge of Southern Song Dynasty, Screen Wall of Engraved Bricks of Ming Dynasty, Lanrui Hall, stone carving garden, Temple of the Queen of Heaven, Chen Huacheng Memorial Hall, Helou Veranda, Qichang Corridor and so on. The park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic♉ spot.

With an area of 76 mu, Shanghai Zuibaichi Park is one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. There are two immovable cultural relics in the park, including Zuibaichi, which was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014; Woodcarving Hall, which was announced as Songjiang County Cultural Relics Protection Unit in July 1985. The predecessor of the garden was Guyang Garden, the residence of Zhu Zhichun, a jinshi (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations) in the Song Dynasty. The garden was also a place for Dong Qichang (a famous calligrapher and painter in Ming Dynasty) to drink and write poems. 370 years ago, during the period of Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty, it was a private villa of Gu Dashen, chief of the Ministry of Works, he rebuilt the garden and changed its name to “Zuibaichi” because he worshipped Bai Juyi (poet of the Tang dynasty). The garden has many pavilions, terraces, and open halls such as Letian Xuan (a small room or veranꦉda with windows) of the Song Dynasty, Simian (four sides) Hall, Yi Fang (a boat-shaped building), Reading Hall of the Ming Dynasty, and Cottage above the Pool, Xuehai Hall, Baocheng Building, Woodcarving Hall of the Qing Dynasty. Art treasures such as stone carvings of Zhao Mengfu's calligraphy authentic works “Visit to the Red Cliff” of Yuan Dynasty and steles of “Portraits of Excellent Talents in Yunjian” of Qing Dynasty are collected in the park. There are countless contemporary calligraphers’ inscribed tablets and couplets hanging in the park. Now the park is rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot.

Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture is in the north of Songjiang New City, it spans Longyuan Road to the east, Guangfulin Road to the south, Shenjing River to the west, and North Yinze Road to the north. Covering an area of about 850 mu, it is the most abundant and valuable among 29 cultural sites in Shanghai. There are three immovable cultural relics on the site, including Guangfulin Site of Ancient Culture, which was announced as national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in May 2013; Chen Zilong Tomb, which was announced as Shanghai municipal ꧙cultural relics protection unit in November 1987; Zhiye Bridge, which was announced as Songjiang district cultural relics protection point in January 2016.
The site takes the protection zone of the archaeological site as its core and presents its original form with farming ecological culture and authentic rural scenery. The profound culture is the core competitiveness of Guangfulin, which includes a cultural display area, a folk display area, a religious display area, an archeological site exhibition hall, and a porcelain kiln exhibition hall. Guangfulin Country Park is located on the south side of Sheshaꦆn National Forest Park, next to the Guangfulin Cultural Site.
Guangfulin Country Park is built around the five core elements of “field, water, road, forest, and village”, and is based on the natural ecological landscape of farming. It is composed of farm picking, fruiting scenery, wetland fishing villages, and camping bases. The block is divided into 12 areas, such as a rape flowe𝓡r field, green field trail, forest oxygen bar, Laolaiqing rice field, and leisurely trail in the paddy. Shanghai Pujiang River Source Scenic Spot is the starting point of Shanghai’s mother river, Huangpu River, also known as the “Zero Kilometer of Huangpu River”. The Xietang River and Yuanxiejing Creek, which meander from Jiangsu and Zhejiang, converge here to form a delta-shaped treasure land and flow into Huangpu River through Hengliaojing Creek. At the confluence of the three rivers, the river is vast, the sailboats in the river competing for the current, the nets rising and falling by the river, thಌe reeds on the bund swaying, the pink peaches and green willows setting each other off. These breeds the endless scenery of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, from which the scenic spot got its name “Pujiang River Source”. The whole scenic spot is divided into two parts: the aboveground part is “🐼Shu-Liu-Li-Yun Pagoda” and “Chunshen Hall”, while the underground part is “Water Culture Exhibition Hall”. In the scenic area, the architectural style of cantilever beam and bucket arch exude classical charm, while the glazed tiles of French windows unfold modern fashion pleasure. The garden, blessed with local trees such as ginkgo, sophora, and weeping willow, displays a charming style of the south of the Yangtze River and shows the epitome of ancient Chinese traditional culture. Now it is a national 3A-level scenic spot.

Located at No.3000 Shenzhuan Highway in Sheshan Town, also the southwest side of Tianma Entrance and Exit of G1503 Shanghai Ring Expressway, Shanghai Tianma Circuit covers an area of about 230 mu. Inaugurated in 2004, the circuit is an F4 track certified by FIA. Songjiang Museum is a local chronicles museum, where the historical relics in Songjiang are collected, researched, and exhibited. The 2-storey exhibition room covers an area of 1,200 square meters. The basic exhibition of “Treasures Buried in the Sand”, which is divided into 3 portions named “Dawn of Huangpu River”, “Glisten of the Historical River” and “Painting Arts”, is on the second floor. The exhibition scientifically shows the cultural relics, which are held in the museum and unearthed in Songjiang, and reflects the achievements during the different periods of social development combined with landscape restoration, lightbox, multimedia, and other auxiliary display methods. The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, and various special exhibitions are held from time to time. Located on the east a🍸nd west sides outside the exhibition hall, the Stele Gallery is composed of long corridors and tablet pavilions. The East Stele Gallery displays the historical materials and inscriptions of Songjiang Prefecture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The West Stele Gallery displays the calligraphic art ✤inscriptions of Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Shen Quan.

Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty
松江唐(tang)经(jing)幢地处(chu)松江中山幼儿园校(xiao)苑区内，198七(qi)年5月被财政部宣布为全国各地关键文化(hua)遗产护理院(yuan)校(🔯xiao)。建于唐(tang)大中第十五(wu)年（859年），是现今(jin)昆明最(zui)历史(shi)悠久的路(lu)面房(fang)建。经(jing)幢21级，高(gao)9.3米🎃，八棱(leng)(leng)八面，故叫(jiao)作为八棱(leng)(leng)碑，别(bie)名“唐(tang)经(jing)幢”，俗(su)名“石塔”。
Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty is located at the campus of Zhongshan Primary School, Songjiang. In January 1988, it was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit. Established in 859, t🍎he pillar is the oldest ground building in Shanghai. The pillar is built of 21 stone blocks with a height of 9.3 meters. With eight ridgꦍes and eight slides, it is also known as the Eight-Ridge Pillar, commonly known as the “Sutra Pillar of the Tang Dynasty”, also known as the “Stone Pillar”.

大(da)仓(cang)桥(qiao)(qiao)座落永丰衔道中广(guang)东路(lu)仓(cang)桥(qiao)(qiao)弄(nong)南，201历经四年4月(yue)被展示为(wei)深(shen)圳市(shi)珍(zhen)贵传统(tong)村落的(de)院校，一座高10余米，跨(kua)径50余米的(de)五孔桥(qiao)(qiao)拱大(da)石桥(qiao)(qiao)。桥(qi𝓰ao)(qiao)前身永丰，因桥(qiao)(qiao)南为(wei)松江(jiang)府漕运(yun)仓(cang)城，故属称大(da)仓(cang)桥(qiao)(qiao)。现为(wei)深(shen)圳位(wei)置有名的(de)北京在明大(da)石桥(qiao)(qiao)最为(wei)。
Located at Cangqiao Lane South, West Zhongshan Road in Yongfeng Sub-district, Dacang Bridge was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in April 2014. The bridge spans 50 meters long and 10 meters high over the river. It was formerly known as Yongfeng Bridge and later named Dacang Bridge for there was Water Transport Warehouse City of Songjiang Prefecture to the south of the bridge. It is one of the famous big stone brꦉidges of the Ming Dynasty in Shanghai.

松(song)江清(qing)真寺在岳(yue)阳居委会大马(ma)路桥(qiao)居委会缸甏巷75号，1980年4月被发布为(wei)济(ji)(ji)南市(shi)文物保護保護基层单位，是(shi)济(ji)(ji)南地域(yu)最(zui)初的伊斯兰(lan)教佛教寺院(yuan)，创(chuang)于于元至(zhi)正年代（134在一年—1365年），初名真教寺。清(qing)朝(chao)年间途经多少次(ci)修(xiu)补和搬迁，往往，现在的清(qing)真💎寺不仅(jin)元代年间的房子风格图片，又有清(qing)朝(chao)第一代和第二代的房子代表性(xing)。核心房子产生大殿、窑殿、穿廊，另有南、北讲(jiang)学堂，邦(bang)克门(men)等，各举窑殿和邦(bang)克门(men)两个最(zui)具该寺房子代表性(xing)。
Located at No.75 Gangbeng Alley, Maluqiao Neighborhood Committee in Yueyang Sub-district, Songjiang Mosque was announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit i♑n August 1980. As one of the oldest mosques in Shanghai, Songjiang Mosque was built during 1341-1368, also named Zhenjiao Mosque. After many renovations and expansions during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the m✅osque today features the style of construction of the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Central Hall, Kiln Hall, Crossing Corridor, North and South Speech Hall, and Bangke Chamber. Among them, the Kiln Hall and Bangke Chamber can best represent the traits of the Mosque.
西林禅寺
Xilin Temple
西林(lin)禅(shan)寺，属(shu)称崇恩寺，建于南(nan)宋咸淳四(si)十七(qi)年（1265—1271年）。明(ming)洪武四(si)🐻十多年之久（1388年）新建，属(shu)于岳阳街镇中(zhong)林(lin)中(zhong)路6610♚号。明(ming)正(zheng)(zheng)统皇敕封时赐名(ming)“大清西林(lin)禅(shan)寺”。正(zheng)(zheng)殿开后门(men)有个塔，名(ming)圆应(ying)宝塔，属(shu)称“西林(lin)塔”。圆应(ying)塔（西林(lin)塔）1982年8月被(bei)公(gong)布了为广(guang)州(zhou)市(shi)文物呵(he)护呵(he)护工作(zuo)单位。塔身七(qi)层(ceng)八面(mian)，砖木空间(jian)结构，塔高46.5米，到目(mu)前为止仍为广(guang)州(zhou)东北部(bu)高达的一(yi)棵树古塔。
Located at No.666 Middle Zhongshan Road in Yueyang Sub-district, Xilin Temple, also known as Chong’en Temple, was originally built during 1265-1274 and reconstructed in 1387. In Ming Dynasty, an emperor named it as Xilin Temple of Ming. Behind the main hall, there stands a 46.5🎶-meter-high, 7-storey octagonal pagoda of brick and wood structure, which is called Yuanyi♋ng Pagoda, also well-known as Xilin Pagoda. Announced as Shanghai municipal cultural relics protection unit in September 1982, this pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Shanghai.
